Wrecking Bar Brewpub Can Line

The full lineup of cans in release order on display at the Brewpub. Hazy IPA has its own project page on my portfolio, being the first.
While serving throughout my time at Portfolio Center, I had the privilege of designing over a dozen cans for the Wrecking Bar Brewpub. A great deal of creative license was offered and I was happy to have a widely-seen and appreciated project to work on. Our working relationship will continue even though I am moving away from Atlanta to Phoenix this April.
Little Tart Sour Cherry Ale. One of our servers, Leslie, has vivid red hair and a pinup figure to go with a ton of tattoos, so we coordinated with a photography studio to get some excellent shots of Leslie in full edgy pinup style. The cherry and skull vintage wallpaper was a fun touch.
Technological Ripeness Double IPA. The advancements in DIPA's get futuristic with this circuit board hops bud in the center.
Buds Lightyear Dry-Hopped Berliner Weisse. The Buzz Lightyear influences are the most apparent here, had fun with the lovely star backdrop as well. Credit to Madeline Thunder for the Hop with Buzz wings illustration. Vector refinement, the patch, typography, and star backdrop highlight my contributions.
Hopback Mountain Imperial Rye India Black Ale. The owner had a vision of two lumbering flannel-clad brewers, arms wrapped around one another. Ran with the fabric theme and made the sun, the hills, and the sky all different fabric textures.
Jemmy Stout. A repeating crowbar pattern (jemmy being another name for a pry or crowbar) with the name built into the pattern (upper right side visible here).
Juice Willis IPA series can. This will hold many iterations of the Juice Willis series, so an abstracted lush juiciness needed to be designed. Gradient mesh at its best.
Lemon Party Sour Pale Ale. Please don't google what a Lemon Party is. Suffice it to say that there are a lot of hidden innuendo in the Mayan/mandala inspired artwork.
Tampa Timeshare Grapefruit Basil Gose. Basil "trees" with a hammock in between under a grapefruit sun. A really fun pattern to try to recreate.
Juice Bar Pale Ale. An overlayed slice on top of a simple geometric pattern using colors associated with juiciness. Important for this to not be too representative of any one fruit (orange, pineapple, etc) because the recipe will change in the future.
Boyzen the Yard Milkshake IPA. Looping, continuous patterns complement the smoothness of the beer, the gauzy velvet gradient matching the color of the product to a tee.
