Adrian & Gidi is a young duo of photographers and set designers from Amsterdam. They have been working together and specializing in tangible still life and product photography. They love to work with a wide range of materials and techniques including paper art, paper craft, styrofoam, plexiglas, miniatures and wood.

The goal in this project was to create a beautiful and whimsical short clip of the hand crafted still visuals which have been made by Adrain & Gidi for the launch of the Flowerbomb Bloom, one of Viktor & Rolf's new fragrances.
The tricky part belonged to us. We had to bring the opposite worlds together. The analog one and the digital. We managed to create very natural and delicate hand crafted paper flowers, using software and digital tools.

Storyboard
We created 3D paper flowers which had to keep the unique characteristics of paper when put in motion. For Marcin Sławek, one of the lead animators from Televisor, it was crucial to make sure Adrian & Gidi’s intricate paper flowers are brought to life in a way that doesn't compromise the natural feeling of Adrian & Gidi’s images.
Animation was made in Cinema 4D and rendered in Octane.
