Our concept for the 2018 Allied Bank calendar was a unique and interesting one to work on. In the spirit of patriotism, we decided to go with the title of "Legends of the Nation" and highlight some of the noteworthy founding members of Pakistan.
Our objective was to bring a vintage yet stylish feel to the design, and we also wanted to highlight some of the crucial people that were involved in the formation of Pakistan that aren't as well celebrated in modern times. For this purpose, we researched on and drafted exclusive hand-drawn illustrations of key individuals of the Pakistan Movement for the project. The quotes for each were also added through meticulous research of each person's famous addresses and published literature, so that we were able to represent their message with authenticity and passion.
