I carried out Heuristic Evaluations for two of the websites: www.mindbloom.com and www.mypyramid.gov. Heuristic evaluation is a discount usability engineering method for quick, cheap, and easy evaluation of a user interface design. As a research participant, I carried out heuristic evaluations for these websites. The report was forwarded to respective companies and changes were incorporated. The heuristic evaluation report sent to Mindbloom Inc. landed me up with an internship position as a business/product analyst.
