PROBLEM STATEMENT: To execute the Wine Down Event successfully – it is imperative to create engaging marketing materials and deliverables to promote and advertise to the public.

AUDIENCE: The audience is adults 21+ in the Cincinnati/ Indian Hills area who enjoy wine. The design must be geared toward the middle age/middle class while also appealing to a wider range of people.

SOLUTION: The Wine Down Wednesday commitee made it very clear that they wanted a strong and exciting design because their goal was to attract as many people as possible. I focus on this idea of excitement and movement. I made my design cause the viewer to flow through the page to express the movement of wine being poured out as well as the idea of the movement in a party. I still intended to have the design classy. I kept it classy by the color scheme selected. I used splashes of wine to break the barriers of the very organized and structured set up. I believe this references the idea of while an event is very organized at first, all hell can break loose once the event takes place.
