Suicide Prevention
The task at hand is to create a campaign to help prevent suicides in Doncaster. The focus is the message “it’s okay to not be okay and it’s okay to ask for help” whilst designing a poster and beer mat for this campaign I will be looking into ambient media to boost awareness. My concept was to focus on the thoughts and feelings of those who are suicidal and asking them to think twice about what they are doing. This is where the tagline “no way out?” comes. The noose creates the ‘O’ of the ‘out’ this is the most common cause of suicide making you think and reflect hence the idea of placing the poster on a mirror.
