"The land of the Indigo People is a garden full of overflowing life, a true Utopia on Earth itself"

This piece is part of a book I wrote and illustrated, it´s called "El Código Azul: Tratado Sobre Vida Subacuática Oculta (The Blue Codex: Tractate About Hidden Underwater Lifeforms)". The book tells the epic story of a nun living in Mexico at the end of the XIX Century. The nun, called Teresa, finds an hidden underwater city inhabited by a race of oceanic beings gifted with thought and language. It combines elements of fantasy and surrealism and reflects  how we perceive the otherness through our own eyes.
The book has been finished and will be published when I get the right resources. It’s been a project I have worked on for nearly a year and I’m deeply proud an excited for the public to see it.
