Qupid is a social music selection mobile application that allows listeners to join or create a playlist. In this playlist, the host will make a selection of music, and allow a set number of listeners to participate in the curation of the playlist. Participants, after creating a profile with the application, can make music selections and vote for or against song selections that appear in the “Que”. Qupid can be used in settings as small as a studio environment, where participants can make selections and vote for their overall preferred song choice. It can also be used in a setting as large as a public party or festival. It can even be used alone, in the comfort of your own solitude.
