Visualizing Heartbeat

I explored Max/jitter to learn more about how live amplitude of sound can manipulate 3D animation that appropriately represents the nature and depth of sound. This program gives the audience the opportunity to participate in the creation of a sound form, which in this case is the synesthetic view of a human heart beat. The visualization of each heart beat will be different each time since no two heart beats are exactly alike. My goal is to use the visualization of sound to bring an audience's awareness to something which can be heard and felt but never seen. This enables the viewer to experience a unique fusion of the senses that is unique for each person.
