Depression + Alcoholism
Two posters raising awareness to the "dual diagnosis" of depression and alcoholism. The two diseases can go hand-in-hand, with over 1/3rd of those suffering from major depressive disorder also face severe addiction problems. This poster series focuses on that duality. The left, depression, and the right representing alcoholism. Both alcoholism and depression are subject to the same stigma in society, and can go unnoticed—very often on purpose. The combination of the headlines into one abstract letterform represent the metaphor of the invisible outcast.
