Adobe HQ San Jose Wellness Center

Surrounded by natural materials and spa-like amenities, employees are given a space where they can rejuvenate both mind and body. Moving from a fitness center to a wellness center increased participation by 25% overall—female participation increased by 300%
As visitors enter the reception area they are greeted by a layered acrylic and wood ceiling, recreating a topographic interpretation of the Adobe Creek, the body of water for which Adobe was named. The feature reinforces the center's emphasis on overall wellness and creates a welcoming environment for employees.
The spa-like atmosphere was achieved through the use of natural materials such as wood, moss, stone, and nature graphics.
An opportunity for socializing and creativity, employees can create their own shapes by manipulating origami boxes.
The Wellness Center embraces a holistic approach to overall well-being, focusing on 5 key aspects of health: physical, mental, emotional, social, and spiritual.
Incorporating both physical and mental activities, the spin rooms and functional training equipment provide high-energy movements, while the meditation and massage rooms provide a space to escape.
Locker rooms were designed with a spa feel and include private changing rooms, wood veneer lockers, glass tile, and plush carpet.
