About the project:
Pinus Cembra is Nature's Design brand and sells products made from special wood of Swiss stone pine tree (Pinus Cembra in latin), which grows in rush conditions of secluded Alpine areas.
Many Swiss Stone Pine trees are only cut because of natural forces like avalanches, lightning and wind. Every year a sustainable harvest of trees is determined by local forest authorities.
Even though it is not an endangered species, intentional harvesting is controlled to maintain the natural preservation balance of this rare species.

Wood, shavings and essential oil of the tree has very strong smell and has benefit effects on wellbeing and health.
The branding task included logo design, package design and brochure.
I was art director and graphic designer of the project, colaborating with other team members:

Pinus Cembra je blagovna znamka podjetja Nature's Design, ki izdeluje in prodaja izdelke iz posebnega lesa cemprina. Cemprin (latinsko Pinus Cembra) raste v težkih pogojih visokih alp. Večino dreves pade zaradi plazov ali strel, sečnja pa poteka pod strogim nadzorom, da bi ohranili naravno ravnovesje te redke drevesne vrste. Les, njegovi ostružki in olje imajo izrazit vonj, ki dokazano blagodejno deluje na zdravje in dobro počutje.
Naloga: oblikovanje znaka, embalaže in brošure.
Moje delo je obsegalo grafično oblikovanje in oblikovalsko vodenje.
