Location: Moscow, Russia
We would like to show you one of our long term project, that is still in process. The project started two years ago in September. From the beginning we realised more than 50 renders. We worked on a huge territory of the residential complex, focused on all the details of masterplan and architecture. We apply a systematic approach to work. We use it in all projects, including this one. The main advantage of this scheme is that we can simultaneously work with both the whole scene and with its individual pieces.
Here are the most interesting works, we have done during this two years. And, of course, the story about how this project was created.
We faced with the task of developing variety of 3D content, that would successfully present this residential complex. It means:
- atmosphere renders
- bird's view
- renders for choosing a floor
- atmosphere renders with commercial property
Usually it is close views from the level of the human eyes. They shows how life goes on inside the residential complex in different seasons and times of day. These renders help us to pretend how the internal infrastructure of the complex functions. Here are examples of such kind of renders.
Is the most popular atmosphere, because all of the buildings start to be buried in the surrounding greenery. Renders are really warm, so it helps us to create the atmosphere of comfort. In our opinion, that is the most important thing that let us to impress the buyer.
CHRISTMAS IS ALL AROUND
The most difficult atmosphere from a technical point of view. However, they are the most spectacular. Winter renders helps to create deeper and more interesting light compositions, especially night ones.
Could you pretend the image of late spring? What is the main difference between spring and summer atmosphere? More colourful and brighter atmosphere. Our spring associates with cherry blossom, for example.
Evolution of the birdview
We need such kind of images to show all infrastructure of the complex, location of buildings, recreational areas, sports and children's playgrounds, parking, road links, etc. Masterplan render let to determine the choice of the building in which customers plan to buy an apartment.
A general plan for the development of the territory, that includes several projects is on the render above. You see, the residential complex "Skandinavia" takes only a small part of this masterplan. Here is this zone:
Despite the huge territory of this general plan, we want to note once again that we have the opportunity to synchronize projects, update information, refine the project and make adjustments in any direction.
The best example is the illustration below. It shows how the project was developing in process of time, when we got new blueprints:
Renders for choosing a floor and an apartment
These renders helps to choose a floor and read the list of available apartments. We create such renders for each building, that we have on masterplan. I allows to position camera in front of the building from the height of the middle of the building.
We had the task to make a five-second span through the territory of the Linear Park "Scandinavia" for a TV advertisement. And our colleagues from TUTKOVBUDKOV and Black tie production write a fantastic script and shot some really funny short films featuring famous russian actors.
SKANDINAVIA STEP BY STEP
This is the example of final render, that we get at the postproduction stage. Next is a complete description of the whole process of creating a render. We use that kind of system in any project.
Positioning angle and modeling the territory
Modeling of architecture. Often we start modeling process from scratch according to the blueprints. Sometimes the design department can send us the architecture in 3D, but in this case, usually, it requires a serious revision.
Working on the scene, putting details of the environment. Usually we use library elements, but sometimes we have to model the unique small architectural forms that are laid out in the design
Planting of vegetation.
The stage setup. Setting up materials and lighting.
Preparation of channels for postproduction. Output the image to the final render.
In the end we would like to tell you about a separate category of commercial real estate renders. Really interesting format. Perspectives are exhibited with human growth and the focus of detail goes to public spaces, shops, coffee shops, etc., that are located on the first floor of the building.
Thank you for reading this project till the end. We will be happy to get feedback from you. Let us know if you like this project. We also have a lot of projects, that we are ready to show.
