A Tale about Madras Christian College (My Paradise)

These are pictures from Madras Christian College (MCC), located in East-Tambaram, Chennai. As the pictures suggest, MCC is not like any other college around you; it’s literally a paradise on earth. The 365 acre campus is covered by scrub forests and here nature is at its best. Anyone would love to enjoy the beauty of this campus and I for one had the good fortune to explore quite a bit of it. During my 2012-15 MCC life, with my first camera in hand, I went around and captured the magic of MCC in my frames. It was my learning ground, where I identified what lay within me, and embarked on the journey to its realization – my passion for Photography. As I mentioned above, these are frames captured in the early phase of my journey as a photographer. However, they are special to me and will always remain so. “There is more to see than can ever be seen More to do than can ever be done.” The unfortunate cyclone of December, 2016 wiped away much of MCC’s beauty. The campus is a sorry sight for anyone who has seen it in its days of glory. This album is a living proof of how MCC was, and an inspiration to the upcoming students and management there to conserve the College as just like it was..
