Repackaging a popular Italian product
branding, packaging, conceptual development
Made in an extensive three-day workshop led by world-renowned packaging designer, Primo Angeli, while living in Rome. Our group was assigned to rebrand and repackage a popular Italian chocolate “Venchi”. The patterns adorning the front side of each bar mimic the well preserved floor-tile artwork found in famous historical churches across Italy. On the inside of the box, each pattern is identified by it’s corresponding church along with a small history of the artist who created it. Therefore, Venchi chocolate could be purchased as a treat, gift, or souvenir.
