Salon De Co. Ovolo Inchcolm, Brisbane

The overarching idea plays on the thought of mixing a home with an artistic hospitality venue. Salon de co was inspired by the Art Deco style, Les Années Folles; revolutionising the world with creative flair.
The design is a loose, hand rendered logotype. The idea was for it to look like an artists signature. In places the mark can be used in an oversized format that reinforces the confidence found within the menu. Oversized graphic elements in the form of stylised dry ink shapes are symbolic of what you’d find on an artists palette. These overlap and undulate forming their own abstract images.
