Intimate portrayal of the relationship with accessories.

This short video was shot during a cold sunny afternoon in Berlin, November 2017. When we de-rushed the footage, Mikka, the new face from Girls Club Management brought a quiet mood to our screens. We decided to keep this organic feel and add a Berlin twist to it. The soundtrack “Kadode” composed by our Japanese friend Sanmi fitted immediately to it.

In this imagery that is simultaneously epic and poetic shade into visual waveforms to produce an intimate portrayal of the relationship between a woman and her accessories. Interférence explores how jewellery is used to articulate aspects of the self. Sometimes, you wear a piece and it feels natural, sometimes it is the contrary. You have to get use to the piece of jewellery or to the shape of a cloth. This process of acceptation comes with your skin sensibility. And it interferes with the earthly body: the action of interfering or the process of being interfered with.
