ASG was actually one of the very first organizations I worked with to give a full web presence makeover and stands to be one of my oldest clients. The design you see here is my third site-wide redesign I have created for the group. I took an old logo I had created for them previously and completely rebuilt their identity from the ground up. Often throwing events and songwriting workshops out of a space known as the Mockingbird Cafe, ASG had wanted a logo that tied in a visual representation of a song bird while utilizing a color pallet that gave off a very “Austin” vibe. After the logo design was approved, I set to work on a new website that would compliment the group’s new brand identity. Navigation and user experience were very important for this rebuild, as the ASG website itself has a lot of layers and old content to sift through. Because of this, I chose to highlight the most crucial aspects of the website on the front page, allowing members, both prospective and current, to access the information they needed with ease. The end result was an easy-to-navigate home on the web that is fully mobile responsive
