We have been called to do a drone video session at a wedding on a late summer Sunday, in Formia which is a small town in the province of Latina. We had promised ourselves that if the rain would have stopped, we would have stayed in a camping nearby for the weekend and have a little vacation for ourselves. Cause in fact, the rain had been pouring all morning, and it did not seem to stop but luckily it did just in time for the bride and groom to come out of the church!
So after the shootings have been done, we took the car and headed back towards Sperlonga which was our ultimate destination and decided to stop in Gaeta since it was on our way and it was lunchtime and we were pretty hungry (at least I sure was). Although the weather was a little windy it was a really nice discovery : the old churches, full of weddings and happy faces, and an amazing panorama from the wonderful St. Francesco temple on top of the hill. The origins of the name of Gaeta are still shrouded in legend...
