Art Dıktator is an electro-synth group formed in 2007 in Istanbul, Turkey.
They describe their music genre as "dark energy", and their sound is mostly influenced by; German europop & disco, Italo disco, 80's post-punk, new wave, heavy & extreme metal, and horror movies & soundtracks.
The duo are known for their strong live performances and continuously gigs at well known night clubs of Istanbul. They also played at various festivals in Finland, Denmark, Sweden, Ukraine, Romania and Canada until now.
They released many limited singles and music videos between 2008 and 2011 before releasing their 6 track mini-album, ''Ultimo Disco Inferno'' in 2012, which was a new cornerstone for them.
Besides the music; the band use visuals drawn by Mezarses, that are accompanying their live performances, mostly consist of themes such as futurism, individualism, nature, horror, anti-religion, fetishism, violance, abnormalities, and death.
Art Diktator is not only a band. It's a spiritual and visual movement with a strong attitude. Brief way of self-expression, way of survival…
