Research narrative

Research Narrative booklet.

Reading responses and free writing about the the research subject. First exploring with writing then collected images to best describe to myself, and to others, about my findings. The main goal of this book was to explore and develop the right aesthetic for this project and to show my stream of consciousness, hence using collage like technique to express my findings.
`
I examined two texts, the first one is Rober Nozick's Experimental machine to explore the theme of "pleasure."
"we desperately want to be connected to reality."          ?
The second text I examined was Ole Bjerg's Too Close To The Body, which borrows ideas from Jean Baudrillard and Slavoj Zizek to explain the relationship between pleasure and contemporary capitalism.
Text about constitutive deficit in pleasure juxtaposed with edited image of Tantalus.
A carousel spread, to express how capitalism, "stages," certain objects to the subject. Borrowing from the second text, "buy, consume, and enjoy," was most used in this project. The images chosen were, pleasant but artificial, or very commercial.
