The National Film Board was founded in 1939 to help Canadian creators shine across the world in fiction, documentary and animation but nowadays, the NFB is perceived as elitist, hermetic and dusty. To break that perception, we created Pause, a new content channel powered by the NFB.
With short and punchy formats, Pause opens the NFB’s doors to showcase behind the scenes of current and upcoming productions in content, film and interactive and by tackling its history with a contemporary lens.
