The project takes inspiration from the concept behind LARA VIANA'S paintings. As a painter, she collected old photographs and vaguely painted them creating a blur look of the object in the photos, signifying their presence in the past.
She expresses herself in gloom, greens and grey and her tangled strokes
are rooted deep into abstraction.
This piece of art is a journey into her puzzled mind, symbolic of the chaos inside her cerebral confines. Its her creepy world chiseled out on the
canvas dressed in her kind of strokes
and a set of textile materials.
The wall art portrays how our intricate brain structure beautifully stores memories from the past and nourishes it, even though its overloaded with thoughts and ideas everyday.
