    Over the past year I’ve been photographing various items made throughout the state for the ‘Made in Washington’ feature in each month’s Seattle Business Magazine. It’s been so fun and interesting to document how such a variety of items are made, so I thought I’d share some of the features I’ve worked on. The Cascade Hardwood sawmill in Port Angeles was my first assignment. Cascade produces furniture-grade lumber from primarily Alder wood which thrives along the wet Pacific coast of the Pacific Northwest. Hands down the largest and loudest saws I’ve ever seen in my life.
