We Got This - Ohio Department of Transportation Video
When Ohio was faced with an impending snowstorm, the Ohio Department of Transportation's communications team jumped into action by creating a video to assure the public that everything was under control. The video juxtaposes audio of panicked news reporters (featuring actual clips from that week's local news coverage) with visuals of ODOT workers calmly going about their job, simply preparing to do what they do best: keeping Ohio's roads clear.
The video performed very well on social media (Twitter and Facebook posts pictured below), and was produced/shot/edited in house by the ODOT Communications Team, utilizing Adobe Premiere CC and Adobe Audition CC. The video was so successful that it attracted the attention of other statewide DOT's, and even inspired the Maryland Department of Transportation to adapt the concept for their own "We Got This" video.
