From the 404’s in life come the best ideas. vml netherlands
The task was to design an advertisement for ADCN, the club and platform for creativity in advertising and design in the Netherlands, commemorating its 50th anniversary.
The concept was ‘Creation born out mistakes everywhere’ so, 404 is about allowing yourself to create in a futuristic world.
I was inspired by cyberpunk, which explores this visual language, and I aimed to create sculptural forms as if they were a futuristic city of real numbers in a series—ones that embody the daily reality of speed and freedom, yet appear real with minimal details. '404 not found' either doesn't exist or is produced by mistake, giving birth to new ideas.
