Project prompt: Design a logo and business card for GoldLine, a fashion company.
I imagined the company to be a high-end, custom-design fashion house so I wanted to convey a sense of elegance and richness. For this reason, I chose to go with an art-deco inspired look to bring back the decadence of the 1920s. A subtle marble texture is interlaced throughout the design to again represent expensive taste. I used it as a background texture for the business card and also as an overlay texture in the blown-up version of the logo.
