'Strengths and shortcomings, a story of new era mobility,’ explores the 80 year long narrative and life of the Volkswagen brand in the most honest way possible, not only highlighting the highs / strengths of the story but addressing the lows / shortcomings as well. This idea of being transparent and displaying both sides was largely informed by the design ethos of Ferdinand Porsche, believing that, ‘good design should be honest', an important value that the VW brand has failed to retain in recent years by lying about the harmful emissions generated through the cars produced by the company
