    It is my belief that folklore is a very important aspect of an Afrikan child’s upbringing. However, the traditional way that folklore was passed down is no longer a feasible strategy in the modern world. The central idea behind this project is the preservation of African Folklore by giving it back to its original audience in a format they can relate to today by implementing contemporary Afrikan illustration styles and through digital media. Afrikan folklore stories told digitally. This is an application which is the archive for Afrikan folklore stories where users anywhere can come to read or listen to the stories.

Because these stories were traditionally told by Grandparents, this application offers the user a chance to listen to the stories in a voice that evokes the most sentiment for them
