In the summer of 2017, as the masses convened in San Diego for Comic-Con, the largest pop-culture festival and convention in the world, Screen Junkies not only joined in to provide our brand of top-to-bottom coverage, but we also hosted our very own live event, Screen Junkies Central!

First, we built a live-streaming studio in San Diego in order report on all the breaking news out of Comic-Con, and to interview the multitude of talent and filmmakers hanging out at the con.  We chatted with the cast of Kingsmen The Golden Circle, the star of American Gods, and Elijah Wood even helped us interview the cast of his own show, Dirk Gently!

Plus, we hosted our own sold-out, one-night-only live event, Screen Junkies Central, at the world-famous House of Blues!  There, we put on live versions of some of our most popular shows, including an Honest Trailers Commentary where the director (Tim Miller) and original creator (Rob Liefeld) watched our own hit Honest Trailer of their film Deadpool!  Then Elijah Wood returned and duked it out with Kevin Smith and Screen Junkies' very own Dan Murrell at a live Movie Fights!

With the incredible variety of events and happenings at Comic-Con, Screen Junkies 2017 presence was an amazing success, garnering nearly 40 pieces of content in just over three days.
