Course: ADV 125 Ad Layout and Production (Spring 2018)
Task: To create a series of bumper ads for Schmidt's Naturals to raise awareness for their brand. The target is young people/YouTube watchers so we were tasked to find an angle to communicate with them. This work was made for a class project and did not come from Schmidt's directly
Execution: For my bumper ads, I decided to take inspiration from Old Spice to make my bumpers very silly. I added in very recognizable old school video game sound effects to appeal to the younger crowds. Each bumper is six seconds each so I needed to find a solution to condense multiple shots into a quick story.
