When I was a child, my friends and I often bought a kind of comic books from the vendors on the roadsides. This kind of books make western comic roles and Chinese comic roles together in one story. Some of them fight with each other and some of them join force against the bad guys. Reading this story is a fantastic experience in my childhood. Some time ago, I saw these comic books begin to sell online, which suddenly provoke my memory. Also the super hero is very popular nowadays. Then I wonder if I can combine some eastern elements and super hero together. In this project, I want to make a shot motion story that the Avengers’ journey to east. 
Chinese shadow puppetry is one of my favorite performance. People behind a curtain control different characters designed by colorful paper to perform. The performances always come from traditional Chinese stories. I want to use this performing form to show the avengers’ story. And also add some east painting of landscape elements.
