Shuen: comes from the meaning of four.
Representing the four stages of life in the Samburu tribe
The Samburu tribe comes from Kenya, and their name came from the meaning of butterfly,
given by their colourful lifestyle, jewellery, clothing and makeup.
The project represents the four stages of the man, the head of the tribe which divides in:
1.Nkaraí (Childhood)
2. Layieni (Junior)
3. Lumurran (Teen)
4. Lpayan (Married men)
The flower bezels work with levels and divisions representing each stage of their lives and how they get growinig
