This piece was in keeping with my cameo series but using only items that were sustainable from the farm I was living on. I wanted to use the concept of morning jewelry and the eye portraits used at the turn of the century. My lover would be given this brooch and only they would know that my "eye was on them" as the wore the work.
Brooch "4myLVR"
copper, raw cotton, shell cameo, horse hair, leather, pearls, glass, silver and water color.
