5 Times Rachel Green Gave Us Fashion Goals
Considering the fact that “F.R.I.E.N.D.S” is one of the most popular sitcoms that was aired during 90’s, many people were inspired (in fact, are still inspired) from this show. One such inspiration for fashion freaks from the show is “Rachel Green: the fashionista”. There is no denying that Rachel was the sassiest person amongst others in their group. And eventually, she became the biggest fashion icon of the 90’s. It is amazing to watch her pull off the outfits so elegantly.

Even after a decade, we can’t stop drooling over Rachel’s outfit. Many girls have even tried to copy her chic way. Well, it is not just about girls, in fact the entire world has embraced Rachel Green’s trend or slightly similar to her wardrobe.
So, in this article, we decided to take you to through the journey of how we are still living in the shadow of Rachel Green’s closet!

Denim Dungarees
The dungarees and Rachel Green made the perfect combo on the famous TV show. This look of Green had a “wow” factor from which we weren’t able to take our eyes off. The short denim dungaree and tee combo become a trend after she wore it on the show. The first look of this combination was shown in season 1 and was instantly loved by the audience. It becames one of the best Rachel Green’s look ever! She paired the white T-shirt with white plimsolls and denim dungaree, which later returned in the series paired up with long sleeves top for autumn and summer.

The Crop Top
The infamous crop top has been in fashion for years. But the person responsible for making crop top a “thing” is none other than- “Rachel Green”. In Season 1, Rachel styled the button up crop blouse in such a way that it instantly grabbed the attention of girls. Green paired it off with different looks like high waist jeans, high waist skirt and not to mention her apron at the coffee house. Each of that look was not only effortless, but was also imprinted in our memory. Well, you can thank Rachel for this amazing trend that stole our heart!

The Oversized Jumper
In Season 3, Rachel introduced us to a vintage oversized jumper. Well, in the 90’s, they weren’t called ‘vintage’ as they weren’t vintage at that time. These jumpers hit the rails on street brands and made some space in vintage stores as well. There was a collection of these oversized jumpers with some originals as styled by Rachel, whereas others were replicated. Rachel paired it with a grey Knicks jumper and then later in that season, she put it on with a pastel purple American flag jumper. If you can’t find an oversized jumper anywhere, then you can visit https://bertiesclothing.co.uk/collections/womens-designer-knitwear and check out their collection.

The Check-red Shirt/Lumberjack
There are many ways to style a checkered shirt. You can wear it open or tie a knot at the bottom with a top underneath. This style will look good with a fitted or oversized shirt too. Whatever you decide, let us tell you, Rachel Green has tried it all. She has used the lumberjack look since season 1. In the episode where she is washing clothes with Ross, Rachel wore a fitted check shirt and tied a knot at the bottom showing off her perfect figure. Then in season 5, she bought a completely different look of check-red shirts and paired it with a leather jacket whose few buttons were undone.

High Waist Jeans And Plain White Tee
The white and blue combination is never going be out of fashion! With this classic F.R.I.E.N.D.S look of a white tee and high waist attire, Rachel gives us some serious fashion goals. In one of the posters of the series, each member of the cast was dressed in a different variation of white top and a pair of battered Levi’s jeans. The white crop top and fitted high waist jeans stole the show. This desirable look was carried by Rachel throughout the seasons, but even now you can see this trend. Throughout the sitcom, there were elements added to the look, but it still remains her signature style.

Well, there are so many attires of Rachel that we want to mention. But we can’t keep on going, as this article will end up being double its size. Still, we can’t stop ourselves from mentioning some of her other best outfits.

The college Girl Outfit
The Office Tie Affair
The Airport Outfit (She got off the plane!)
The Floral Bottoms

This list can go on forever, as we can’t get enough of her outfits! Considering the fact that she was the top fashionista of 90’s, we can’t expect any less from her!
