These are photos of Main Street USA during the Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party for the years 2015 and 2016. The designer and gear was the same both years which is why I have combined the two. The fixtures we were using for small prop and architectural lighting were GLUX fixtures. For the main buildings on the street we were using Pixel Arc LED heads. For the windows in the buildings we were using RGB Technilux panels. The console we used to run the show file was a High End Systems Wholehog Road Hog Full Boar 3.
Every night of the party the crew and myself would proceed to the rooftops and various other locations to stand up pipe and base or plug in fixtures or flip on breakers for the fixtures. I would then proceed to turn on the console and make sure the clock was right and that the SMPTE line was still plugged in. At 7pm SMPTE would be sent to the console from Central Audio to play the cues. As the crew chief it was my responsibility to make sure tasks for the evening were delegated (running parade cues, setup assignments, etc), make sure meal times were observed, keep the integrity of the design intact, and troubleshooting any and all issues that arose throughout the night.
