Kansas City Airport Rebranding


 A brand is more than a logo and a color palette. A brand needs to have a life and voice of it’s own, distinctive brand elements and attributes, and a carefully curated suite of materials to promote it. For this project, I created an updated look and feel for the new Kansas City International Airport.
For this project I wanted to represent "midwestern hospitality" and warmth but in a modern way. It was important to think carefully about every brand decision that I made and how it impacts brand extensions like way finding signage, advertising, entertainment, retailspaces and messaging. 
To promote the new airport and tourism to Kansas City, I made a short video highlighting spots in the city to check out.
