'It seems to me that the creative process is one that re-examines those things we already know and understand, and forces us to reconsider them, usually involving insight to their nature. The creative act is an act that transforms the ordinary into the extraordinary.'

The hand-crafted book follows the details which structure initially caught my eye around my first trip to Brighton, UK. They tell the story of a wanderer who gets lost in the timelessness between hurry and quietness of mind. The slowly passing moment in the protagonist's vision of ambience divides into portions the objects he beholds. Each one of them leaves a notable trace which seals the experienced flash with a contoured glimpse inside the wanderer's imagination.

The aim of this project is to capture the essence of a specific location by examining processes for visual analysis, understanding visual material and establishing creative insights. At the end a visual narrative was to be created through examining, unpacking, collating, adapting, combining and connecting what had already been captured.
