Galipatam is one of the most eccentric events celebrated annually in National Institute of Design, Vijayawada. It's celebrated, in the month of January, during the time of the harvest festival in South India.
The aim was to bring out the exuberance and high spirits of the festival through colors and motifs found in Andhra Pradesh. The banners were strategically placed in the given space during the celebration. The banners comprise the illustrations on the kite flying tradition and and the cultural energy the event holds.
