Cold and drizzling - it was one of the days you probably stay better at home. Nevertheless, I went for a walk out in the woods. But as expected everything was dark grey or brown. The only colour spots were here and there some forgotten red leaves of beeches from last autumn.
But all of a sudden I noticed some disturbing spots at the edge of the wood: a flashing green and yellow. The bark of an Elderberry bush (Sambucus nigra) was covered with moss and lichen.
