The dashboard’s purpose is to facilitate all of the coach needs and increase overall efficiency within Athletics. To understand the relevance of dashboard design outside of typical business structures, the pilot project would explore the management of the Women’s Lacrosse team. The emphasis of the project revolves around Nicole, the coach, even though an athletic team operates as a single entity.

In her desk Nicole has dry erase boards, and a large desk calendar that is placed under her computer. This helps distinguish her personal organization habits so that it can be tied in to the ‘hands-on’ aspect of the coaching and managing the team. This is further exemplified during practices when she integrates herself from coach to player.
The Always On Dashboard would be an e-ink display situated infront of the coach.

The coach can manage: Calendars, Reminders, Post-its, Networks, Student Goals and Journals Recruits and Budgets
E-ink All on Dashboard will merge the Physical and Digital model. It will become the main hub for the management of the Lacrosse team.
