WASP Superheroine Identity

The task: recreate the identity of a superhero from a DC or Marvel comic book.
The target: The Wasp, also known as Janet Van Dyne, fashion designer and experiment gone horribly right.
Janet was the daughter of a famous scientist, and one of his friends perfomed an experiment which allowed her to change in size from a wasp of mere centimeters to a creature the size of a building.

This oversize-undersize contrast; airy, thin modern type; and a three tone palette mix through the identity for Janet's fashion company, The Wasp. Inspired by W magazine's iconic logotype, The Wasp's logo looms gracefully over the large envelope and letter-back with pointy stingers and a playful antenna.\

The hexagonal patern went through iterations, and is lightly reminiscent of Louis Vouitton's unforgettable diamond grids.
