    This generation is the first generation to have a shorter life expectancy than their parents and it's due to inactivity. As people get older, they begin to see sports as inconvenient and not fun like they did when they were younger. If young athletes are not having fun, they will eventually walk away as well. With all this money, mostly generated from television, it is hard to evaluate a sports scene which is now entirely dominated by commerce, in which the concept of fair play is dismissed. In economic terms, the global sports industry really is more than a game. Romanticism can no longer live with such brutal realism. Read Less
