When reading the news, do you take the articles for they are, or do you question them and find the truth on your own?
This piece is meant to question news media and disect it. I took news articles and cut out the words that I found useless and created new sentances that I felt best explain what the article was actually trying to say. I then used gel medium to transfer the newspaper images onto thick paper to give the piece a worn looking esthetic.
I hope that this piece can encourage people to take a stronger look at what they read in the news and make their mind up for themselves.
