Rowdy the Roadrunner Digistration™ Sketch
For a change of pace, I embarked on a fun and quick sketch exercise to reimagine Rowdy, the UTSA roadrunner mascot, using the digital canvas. While I typically doodle my cartoony characters on paper, I decided to embrace digital tools and try something new.
Using the Illustrator Draw app, I captured the creative process in real time, marking my first attempt at recording the evolution of a sketch from start to finish. It was an exciting opportunity to explore the capabilities of digital illustration and document my artistic journey along the way.
As I breathed new life into Rowdy, I infused the character with playful energy and personality, drawing inspiration from the spirited spirit of the UTSA community. Each stroke and detail contributed to reimagining Rowdy in a fresh and dynamic light, showcasing the versatility of digital artistry.
Through this exercise, I not only honed my skills as an illustrator but also discovered the joys of creating on the digital canvas.
