Design concept: I wanted to learn how to depict eye-catching and highly colourful molecular models for my work (as a medical artist). I least how to extract models from the ProteinDataBank and import them into Blender for retouching and setting. I decided to give the surface structure a mesh texture to allow the ribbon structure to show through. Touch ups were done in CC PSD. Check out more on this project on my instagram: @caitlinmonney
