When directing the short film True Love, I was inspired by a few movies and a very specific song. The song was Stan by Eminem. The song spoke about a man writing to his favorite artist and being his biggest fan. This led to the main character Anthony. Another character by the name of Tyler was based purely off of a close friend of mine. The character Luna is often found to be in the center of some given shots and that was strictly by design. She is a quirky character and to offset some of her characteristics I thought odd camera shots would be enough. Outside shots had color correction leading towards warmer color to give the scenes some life and a touch of vibrant color while the party scenes had their color leaning towards blue.

So I didn't want to have voice over in my documentary because I wanted the whole group to tell the story. Instead of hearing just my voice because it was a group struggle. I decided to show lots of behind the scenes footage of our filming process to show how much work was put into that process and show you how much fun we had. 

For this movie trailer, I took a few paramount clips from the movie that would give a little description about the movie without revealing the plot of the story. We used a different song for the trailer to make the tone have a little teenage younger feel. Most of the shots are of Anthony to tell the audience the movie is mostly about him. I used a lot of color correction to make a few scenes brighter because most of our shots were too dark when we originally filmed them.
