It's about William of Orange, known as ‘Father of the Fatherland’ is one of the most iconic figures in Dutch
history. Although his life was governed largely by his noble status and official functions, the Prince of Orange
was more than just a political and military leader. As a husband and the father of a large number of children, he
was fully aware of the responsibilities and pleasures of family life.
This exhibition (and its design) is based on the public and private life of the prince, his wife and their children (4 daughters).
