The boat of Life (Visualization)
This one is only a visualization, not a real painting on a wall (yet). Project "Boat of life" is done together with folk artist Dalia Stalauskienė. The idea was to use traditional paper cutout art in a streetart scene. This project was announced as the best one in a local city council art contest 2017. Unfortunately due to the owners of the old fabric suddenly changing their plans, we missed our chance of project funding. Maybe in the future we will apply a second time or find another wall.
The building is located near a river and also near one of the biggest supermarkets in the city centre. The main point was to attract more attention to the river itself and to give a non commercial balance to the shops industry nearby. The boat is covered with a folk papercut interpretation of the tree of life and have a lot of symbols from birth, nature, death, moon and the sun. A classic native tale of human life to remind us of our roots.
