In this project, we were focused on product design for social responsibility, user centered design and community engagement. We were tasked to implement types of designs solutions which would be beneficial for the Reaboka Foundation.
Have having done research on the foundation and field work at the communities, I chose to develop the product range more. I decided to focus on the soft toy market for infants.

In this project a lot of new skills were learned. A greater understanding and empathy were gained for the people living in communities. For future community engagement projects a better approach will be used.
This design can be taken further by testing it with age groups to see how they react to the story and different textures. Then the Reaboka ladies can try to manufacture a batch and see how long it takes. More stories of how the animals met can also be developed by using the Story hut idea.
